icons for launcher

    Hi
    I have two launchers visible in the left corner of the taskbar for Firefox and Thunderbird.
    The icon is the "sprocket"
    I can't find 16X16 F or T icons.
    Although both applications show these, or so does the right click menu of the xfce4 (mouse icon).
    I did a "whereis" in the terminal for firefox & thunderbird.png, but thunar isn't much help to me to find these.
    I can't locate the search icon/option.
    Any idea where I could find the icons, to include the correct path to them in the launchers.
