Basically I want to copy my audio CDs onto Memory sticks that I can play in my car (vauxhall Insignia), the car claims it can play MP3 and WMA files straight from a memory stick but it seems to have a problem with WMA files.

I've tried Grip but the car doesn't like the files produced, Sound Juicer won't install nor will Rhythmbox. It's not the car as some files ripped on an old PC work. I don't want to alter too much on my Aspire One as all my work stuff works well nor do I want to beg my wife to use her Windows Laptop ;)

    Any help much appreciated

I've used 2 simply named "soundconverter" and "soundkonverter" they're very simple apps and will convert wav to mp3 the quality of which is set by you with the higher quality conversions converting to larger mp3 file sizes.
    Hope it helps.
