So I have the AAO 120gb/1gig version with Windows XP. I want to install the factory Acer Aspire One version of Linux (Linpus Lite?) on this machine and dual-boot. Here are my questions:

    1. Where do I acquire Linpus? Acer's website or Linpus' website?
    2. If it's Linpus' website, which version do I download? (lite, 9.5, or 9.6?)
    3. Does the factory .iso from Linpus' website include the Acer optimized drivers, software, etc? Just like a factory Linux AAO?
    4. How can I dual-boot my existing WinXP and Linpus install (assuming I can de-mystify this Linpus mystery)

    Thanks.

As a first step you need an installer that is able to shrink the ntfs-partition of XP.
I did that recently with a Debian/lenny installer.
