hp imaging software on a win 7 laptop

    I have a hp windows 7 laptop that I would like to install an
    hp photosmart imaging software cd on. the cd is win 98, 2000, xp . Can it be done?

    Are we to assume that you HOPE to install either Windows 98, or Windows 2000 or even Windows XP onto a Computer ALREADY running Windows 7??

    OR is your Computer 'dead in the water' and THAT is your ONLY available OS installation Disk ???
