How to use the webcam to take 1.3 MP still pictures?

    I have an aspire one model AOA150-1447 and it is listed as having a 1.3 MP web cam. Is there a way to take a 1.3 MP still picture with the web cam.

    I have found that by right clicking on the Acer Crystal Eye Webcam in MyComputer and selecting Get Pictures, I can take pictures but they are only .3MP (640x480).

    Do you have to get a third party software to get the webcam to take a 1.3 MP still picture?
