How to use IEGD beta driver?

    Hi,
    i just read this thread : viewtopic.php?f=87&t=17153 and I installed the IEGD beta driver. I tought it will help with graphics, but it didn't. I think i don't know how to use it - i opened the file and there were some options with configurations etc. and i didn't know what i supposed to do :(
    I opened the program again, then opened Quake 3 Arena but it reads that i have open GL 1.1 from microsoft(as usually it shows) and it sometimes can lag (in 800x600 resolution , because 1280x1024 requires openGL and then is showing the error) .
    My question is : what i supposed to do , to play Counter Strike(not Quake3 as in the thread :D ) quite smoothly in openGL or D3D mode?
    I have installed too GMA 500 driver on my xp, must i delete it to let work IEGD drivers?
