how to trim ssd in windows 7

    hi,

    using win7, just put in a new ssd drive, enabled trim in CMD,

    does trim run automatic or do i run it manual, i only have a defrag option that i know i must not use,defrag is set so it does not run, please help, some guys talk about using a optimize option, i can not find this on my laptop,

    Go over to the manufactures site there will be a ssd drive program.

    It will allow you to choose to autorun TRIM or manually operate it.

    I use scandisk so my scandisk program allows me to go to the menu and choose trim.
