how to reset the bios?

    i currently have an issue with my one where i need to reset the bios completely. my friend bricked it when he set the pass and i need a way to reset it. instructions on how to reset the bios on here? jumpers? battery?

    ...there is a button battery in AA1, which you can remove and *short the pin *( someone pls confirm this) to reset the bios. You might hv to dismantle the AA1. And at the same time take the opportunity to upgrade yr ram to 1.5Gb. :D Impt : Pls read the impt thread from other forumers. ;)

    Type the password in CAPITAL letters.

    If not, open it and remove the battery.

    Or press ALT-F10 on the (bios) F2 - F12 screen to bypass the password.

    For some reason when you enter the password in the bios it is changed to capitals.
