how to recover using thumb drive

    i created a recovery disk off a usb thumb drive. when i set it to boot on that drive, the recovery management window shows up and when i hit the continue arrow it just freezes. when i hit enter it boots up to x. please help!!! :shock:

    having the same problem here, the recovery cd doesnt work, made the usb from my desktop pc, this the --> icon, and, thats it... frozen!!!

    had the same problem. i borrowed an external optical drive then plugged it in directly to the AA1. after installation, i made the USB recovery disk from the AA1 too as i cannot make a proper one out of my XP/Ubuntu desktop and it worked. :( weird.

    guy, move the cursor to "-->" and then use RIGHT mouse button to CLICK... just tap the touch pad is not going to work.
