    I have figured out today what the program GMABooster does to overclock my little netbook's video card, and here are the directions!

    What do you need? A program called WPCREDIT for WIN32 or something else to directly edit the various device registers that are "behind the scenes."

    Directions
    Open WPCREDIT for WIN32
    Press Ctrl + D to select what device to show
    Select Bus 0 - Device 2 - VGA Compatible as the device
    In the bottom left corner of the registry grid you will see registers F0 and F1. These need to be changed. Below is what register F0 and F1 needs to represent for each GMA950 frequency.

    F0......F1
    00......60 - 166mhz
    00......05 - 200mhz
    01......05 - 250mhz
    03......05 - 400mhz

    Another way of looking at it...

    400Mhz = F0(00000011) F1(00000101)
    250Mhz = F0(00000001) F1(00000101)
    200Mhz = F0(00000000) F1(00000101)
    166Mhz = F0(00000000) F1(01100000)

    You can use the latest GPU-Z utility to verify what your frequency is. Have fun =P

    It does work, more or less, however the changes are reverted when I shutdown and restart, is there a way I can make this a permanent change? GMABooster isnt a permanent solution either, and it contains adware so I refuse to use it....

    I believe you would have to burn the setting into (I think) the PLL chip.
