Hi! I have a laptop (Amilo 1425M) running Windows Vista and with a 3G connection, all configured to share that internet connection through wireless ad-hoc network (ICS in windows) (Running Ok with other PCs or Xbox 360 for example). Now i have my Acer Aspire One with limpus but it can not detect that Ad-hoc Network at the Connection manager. What should i do?

I guess for linpus "shared" = "ad-hoc" (or peer-to-peer), and "open" = "infraestructure".

In the network configuration application, you can edit the access you want to change. If you select WEP, then you can choose between "open" and "shared".
