This is my first netbook and I knew it would come without an optical drive. What I didn't know is that Acer sold they systems without any CD/DVD images of the pre-installed OS (Windows 7 Home in my 1410). Unfortunately, Acer's eBackup software doesn't allow me to write to a USB pendrive and only accepts DVD writers. Absurd. So now I need to buy an external DVD writer just to create a backup image of my OS... unless someone shares their thoughts/tips on how to do it with a pendrive or how to create an ISO that I can later copy over the network to a PC that has a DVD writer. Thanks! Vieri PS: Why are manufacturers so cheap nowadays that they can't even bundle a DVD of the OS I'm actually purchasing with the netbook?
