How do I replace the movie and photo folders etc?

    How do I replace the movie and photo folders etc so I'm linked to them from the icon? I know how to make new folders, just not sure on how to replace the folders that originally came on the laptop. My friend thought it would be funny to delete them :(

    Are you using an SD card in the `storage expansion' slot? If so you need to be a bit careful. If you still have icons but no actual directories, then I suspect they've gone from the /home/user directory. You should be able to navigate that that directory using the filemanager and create the old directories Pictures, Music, etc., if they have gone. If you are using storage expansion, the same directories ought to be looked for under /media/disk as well.
