    Hi,
I normally try to work these issues out myself.I have used Suse 11 in the past and menu editing is easy. Can anyone advise me how to remove menu items for used programs that haven't removed themselves from advanced menu, and add them.

    Thanks :?

Search would've gotten you a long answer, but here's the short version:

Adding to menu: use the menu editor (under Settings).

Removing from menu: rename the .desktop file in /usr/share/applications. When you change the extension, the program will disappear from the menu.
