This is my daughters netbook. She has the Acer Aspire One AO751h. She bought this with her birthday money in the beginning of Sept. 2009. Shortly there after, we had issues that required her to send it in to be repaired, resulting in a New Hard Drive. Incidentally, we are now facing a boot up problem where all we are getting is a "Disk Read Error". Being this Netbook has no disk drive, we are not sure how to proceed to fix this. Acer support has told us that the Warranty has expired, so unless we can fix this ourselves, she will be out of luck, without a computer and almost a complete waste of $300 of her money.

PLEASE HELP US save this PC!!! :(

    Kindly,
    Danica

Sounds to me like you need another replacement HDD (Hard Disk Drive). They aren't that expensive and easily replaced. I'm currently looking at a Western Digital 500Gb on eBay for about $60
