Hard Drive Problem?

    I own two AA1's and they have been great to have. Unfortunately, I now am having a problem with one of the two. It has extremely slow startup times, and lags when running. I have tried a number of things, including scanning for viruses and malware, defragging and disk cleanup, updating bios, etc...

    I am running XP, which is exactly what I have on my other AA1, and I've never had a problem with it. The hard drive writing light is almost constantly solid green. Usually the only times it even blinks on and off is during startup. I've tried the fix that involves uninstalling the IDE 1 drive and letting windows reinstall it, but it did not seem to help. With the hard drive constantly going, the computer is painfully slow.

    Does anyone have any other ideas for me?
