Here is my way of running Windows XP without stalling. No SSD mod is required.

    - Leave factory Linpus OS on SSD untouched.

    - Upgrade RAM to 1.5G

    - Boot AA1 from a USB stick installed with Puppylinux. (Press F12 during boot)

    - Install VirtualBox 1.50 on Puppylinux. (I find the newer versions of VB don't work that well)

    - Create XP virtual machine VDI on an 8 Gig SDHC Card. Use FAT format. After install, turn off paging, restore. Install RAM disk drive z;, and set TEMP and TMP to point to z:. Install VB guest addition.

    It is quite usable.

tinyXP with some registry changes works great for me, fast and smoothly, watching divx no problems at all. Only problem is the bios version. Upgraded to 3114 --> AAO died on me, reflashed to 3109 (as mentioned on this board) came back to life and running as smooth but 10 degrees celcius hotter (64 instead of 55).
