go-home-applet and netbook-launcher unresponsive

    Hi,

    I've installed UNR on my new AO751h, but i'm having problems with the application launcher. When I click on the go-home icon at the top left of the screen, it take several minutes to show the netbook launcher. When its does, I can click on firefox, pidgin and other software, but the netbook-launcher always seems to not much responsive.

    Any clue?

    This is a clean install and I've updated the video driver following UBR instructions.

    I have this problem with the netbook remixes as well. Something about the interface.

    Try a standard installation with gnome or xfce.

    the net book remix is equipped with gnome, go to system preferences and click switch desktop mode, switch modes and the launcher will be gone.

    yes, but then you still have to contend with maximus :p
