getting the superuser password

    Hi I have just bought aspireone netbook and I have seen a couple of tutorials online on how to customise the layout but you need to add a su password , I did this but for some reason now when ever I try to run the terminal with the user it says password wrong and even when I press f2 on start up it says its wrong there to, how do I change the password for this?

    Sorry I just found a solution online you enter the first 8 characters of your password and always a hit the caplock, its a bug
