Getting rid of scrolling mouse swirl

    How do I replace the mouse pad scrolling swirl. I would like to go back to the up/down arrow like on my dell 700m.

    You'll need to go modify the trackpad settings.

    Under the mouse properties
    click on the device settings tab
    click on the settings button
    under "Advanced Gestures"
    turn off "chiral rotate"

    That was it!

    It was under "Virtual Scrolling" instead of "Advanced Gestures" on my machine.
