I have an Acer 5920G running Vista Home with 2GB of DDR2 667mhz RAM.

What I want to do is buy a 2GB stick, put it instead of one of the 1GB on the 5920 and use my spare 1GB from the big laptop onto my AA110.

Would the AA1 support the spare stick?

    Thanks!

Ok did the swap on the big laptop, all worked just fine.

    The spare RAM I have now is a hynix 1GB 2Rx8 PC2-5300S-555-12

I'm using a PC2-5300 stick in mine right now.
Should work fine in the AAO 110. It will just run slower, since the AAO 110 runs the memory at 266 Mhz instead of 333 Mhz.

Ah well... thanks... I couldn't access the RAM compartment, one screw simply wouldn't move. Fail. The whole thing still works thankfully but it won't get extra RAM anytime soon (
