Hi everyone, My son has just finished Uni, and having got small portable pc of some sort for use at work he has decided to sell his Aspire 5535 to raise some funds. He is pretty sure that is has some kind of virus so I told him we would use the restore discs to get it back to "new" condition. These are nowhere to be found, but I have found from another forum that it can be restored using alt and F8 (F10?) This isn't going to help us though because he has forgotten his user password. Seems that he got fed up with all his housemates using it (hence the virus), and decided to change the password one evening after a row with them and a few too many drinks! Can anyone tell me how I can best go about accessing windows to restore it please? It runs Windows Vista Home Basic. Many Thanks, Julie Lapham
