Hey guys, after dropping my acer and breaking its screen i've had it hooked to a spare 15.4" monitor and using it as a nettop pc until i can scrape enough money for a replacement (ah the v.poor student life :p).
My monitors real native res is 1280x800 (tho its manual states 1280x720 :S and even worse the EDID claims 1280x1024 (damn Digimate!!)) But I cannot use the native resolution as XP does not report it.
The closest rez's XP reports is 1280x720/768/960/1024 I've unchecked the "Hide resolutions not supported" and no sign of x800
Ive even tried using Powerstrip and for some reason every time I either use the preset 1280x800 or make my own, Powerstrip seems to set the refresh as 47hz interlaced for some reason, no matter what refresh rate I use (I need 60hz).

    Does anyone have any ideas?
