Flickering LED Screen (HP G60 235DX)

[B][COLOR=#0000ff]My HP G60 235DX LED screen flickers and I have to attach an external monitor in order to avoid the problem. [/COLOR][/B] [COLOR=#0000ff][B]The flickering will stop for a few seconds if I tilt the screen, but it not a permanent "fix" I am not sure if it may be the ribbon cable are if the LED screen going out or both. [/B] [B][/B] [B]My repair person said that It would cost ~$250 to replace the screen and that includes labor. I want to keep the laptop and am wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and if there was a less costly solution w/o discarding the laptop?[/B] [B][/B] [B]Thank you ahead of time for any information that anyone can provide me.[/B][/COLOR]
