I'm about to install FF3 via Acer's website.

At this point what are the most common issues...if any?

    Worked just fine for me.

Downloads all the languages on the planet though so you'll have to disable them all afterwards oh and the Google toolbar won't uninstall so disable it, apart from that, fine.

any particular reason why you need to choose all the language options? EDIT: SORRY, BRAiN-FART! It downloads them all by default. D'oh!

Is disabling the languages and the Google toolbar a clickbox operation or a trip to the terminal?

You just go through them within Firefox itself, only takes a few mins... You'll find you can't uninstall them or the google toolbar but if you disable them you'll be none the wiser of either...

We'll give it a shot. I'm starting to get error messages from a few websites that my FF2 browser is no longer supported. Time to change.

OK, I downloaded it. No problems. Looks great.

I was able to disable the Google Toolbar and just found all those language packs in "add-ons".

If you have a later-generation Linpus AA1 the Google Toolbar will not be loaded. as part of the upgrade. I just installed FF3 on a 1GB 16GB SSD model and there is NO Google toolbar here. That's cool.
