    Hi All,

Looking to upgrade next year. Any feedback on the Dell Latitude 7400? Am interested in actual battery life.

i did consider the XPS, but didn't like the mix of ports. The Zenbook is enticing, but i'm concerned about how thin it is(the irony)

If you guys can suggest alternatives, it would be most welcome. Primary considerations are

    - price: US$1,000, US$1,200 tops
    - battery life : around 9 hours at least with the usual productivity, browsing, light coding
    - weight: around 1.5 - 1.6kg is fine
    - size: no larger than my current Asus UX305, but don't mind if it's a little thicker
    - RAM: 16GB installed or upgradeable to. Kinda overkill i know, but i'm hoping to run some VMs on it.

    Thanks :)
