EEE 901 BIOS issue

    I rarely use my Netbook these days except as a test device.
    It let me down today because I could not get its WiFi access to work.

    Every time I got into the BIOS I found WLAN was disabled.
    I changed and pressed F10.
    When I checked it upon a reboot WLAN was again disabled.
    Why is this?
    Is there a fix?
