:D I came across some great free software that will let you backup an image of the Aspire One's recovery partition and also the existing window's partition. After you have things backed up, it will make either a Linux or Bart's PE version recovery DVD/CD's. If you do not have an external DVD/CD for your Aspire one, then you can copy the image files to another windows pc and burn the recovery disks there. I have a USB hard drive so I created the image's there and then transferred them to my desktop where I made recovery disks using the Linux recovery environment option. The image backup also backs up the Master Boot Record, and you can also restore that during recovery as the orginal Acer MBR is needed for the Aspire to boot properly after recovery.
