    Afternoon all,

Just a quick question...well, it's going to start as a quick question and no doubt grow arms and legs...but hey ho, here we go!!

I have SL10.6.3 running quite happily on a VM at home on my Windows 7 machine, but that's not much use to me when I am at work.
I would like to install SL 10.6.3 onto my D250 and run a dual boot scenario (as VMWare won't work on the D250). But, I'm not too keen on wiping my D250 and installing SL first and then dual booting with XP as I seem to be finding most guides say to do. I know that is probably the slicker, quicker way to run the pair but I'm loathed to re-install all my Windows apps.

So, the question is, is it possible to install SL 10.6.3 to run dual boot with XP installed as it comes out of the box?
And if so, are there any good guides kicking about to show this?

Right, let the arms and legs grow from here on in....

    Cheers

    Paul :ugeek:

well, what you can do is install osx on an external hard drive and boot from there :)

that way, your existing xp partition (drive) isn't modified.

If grub allows OSX to boot, you could install a small linux distro to get grub, and triple boot XP, Linux and OSX.

Burg would give a nice graphical menu.

That's my eventual plan for the machine.
