Download folder location

    Hi,

    I'm trying to copy a file from the download folder to a new location in a terminal window, but don't know the where download folder is?
    eg /usr/home/downloads or something?

    Any quick help appreciated.

    try
    $ cd ~/Downloads
    $ pwd
    $ ls
