Dell third party battery not charging

    I went and tried a cheaper (Non-Dell) battery for my Inspirion 15 5559. The Laptop refuses to charge it, even with the genuine AC adapter. My question, WHY would these cheaper battery makers even bother with selling these batteries if the Dell is just going to reject it??? Doesn't make sense! I was figuring there is some kind of BIOS reflash/patch that tricks the laptop into charging third party batteries. If so, do you have a link to the BIOS patch?
