Dell Latitude 7400 SSD upgrade

    Hi folks! I have Dell Latitude 7400 with 256 gb m2 ssd. I want to upgrade it to 2 tb storage Micron 3400 that is working on PCI-E 4.0. But my laptop has PCI-E 3.0 slot m2. Is SSD will work with it only with slower speeds?

    Hi, Railey!

    Yes, the speed of the SSD in your case will be determined by the version of the port where it is connected. So no need to spend extra money for Gen-4 drive if you will connect it to a Gen-3 port.
