I got an aao a couple of days ago. It seems it is one of the 'noisy fan' versions. I have been reading these forums and have seen lots of posts and threads about the issue and references to the acerfand script but can't find the original howto or clear instructions and explanation for it. I am sure the must be one but searching for acersand gives a huge number of hits where it is referenced. Also is there a way of reading what the temperature is? The fan on mine doesn't come on immediately but starts after a while and then increses after a bit longer until it reaches full buzzing bee level. I assume it is ramping up with temperature but I am surprised that the temp is going up so quickly under low load. thanks
