I'm having trouble with my aspire one language setting (it constantly switches from US/ UK) but, it also seems that now K,O,M,L,>,0 and a few other keys don't work. I had to borrow a computer because I couldn't type the email on that computer. I was told by the Canadian help desk that I have to wait till tomorrow and since this is a word processing computer it's kind of useless to me without it so i'm turning to my fellow forum members in hopes that i'll find a solution quicker.

    Code:
    Option "XkbDisable" "yes"
            Option "DisableModInDev" "yes"

It turns out that it was a loose keyboard plug. I think that p and . only work sometimes or maybe my computer is under heavy load. More importantly I have the words fastest aspire one because from what I have read it only goes up to 1.5 but my system says it is a whole 2 gigs of ram even though it only has 1.5 of actual memory put in.

Actually it seems that the new updates are having a lot of issues with the keyboard. The acer tech support guy told me that the new updates are given a lot of people with their keyboard

Scratch that. I restored back to the original operating system and it died again.
