Create Recovery CD's

    I have Acer Aspire D250-1165. I want to create a set of recovery CD/DVD. I have attached an external DVD/CD.

    When I go a Start, programs, Acer, Recovery, the Dvd/CD is not recognized as being there.

    The Bios sees the device.

    How do I do create a set of recovery cd/dvs's?

    Windows 7 will allow you to create a recovery disk.

    Other then that, you would have to get some third party software.

    check your cd drive and make sure you are putting in the correct dvd. +R or -R
    mine uses both and it took about 20 minutes.
    is it a writeable cd/dvd ??
