Crazy display/video issue

After using my AOA150 for a while it starts showing weird colors, and after a while turns to the following:

It's really weird.

After I turn the screen off for a moment, it turns back to normal, as you can see in the following video:


Does anybody here have any idea what it could be?

 

I have no idea what it could be honestly, but I do know for a fact you're not the only user on these forums reporting crazy-ass monitor problems. Another user had a similar problem, Acer told this user that their screen was cracked, it looks cracked in the photo they upoaded, but they are 100% certain it's not.

At least it's some consolation that you're not the only one getting a garbled monitor for no apparent reason. I'd say it's most definately a hardware issue... maybe the inverter? if these machines have one...
