    Hi!,

I've suffered this for a long time now and I think it's time to try and fix it. It could be a common problem, but I've failed to find an answer so far.

OK. I have a netgear modem router and I can connect to it with no problems. I've got a 100% signal strength reading and when it's connecte it works beautifully.

However, it randomly disconnects for no apparent reason. It then will not reconnect via the connection manager, so I have to shut the lid, wait a few seconds then restart, wait for automatic reconnection and away I go....for another few minutes...

    Any ideas?

Same thing happens to me... seems like when I let the conection idle, it happens more often. The adapter becomes "diabled" and cant be reenabled until after a reboot.it happens to me in xp and linpus. aoa110
