    Hi All

A very Happy New Year to all

I have two aspire one with Win XP Preinstalled

Unfortunately after thw warranty was over I broke one screen

I am trying to connect the Laptop to a Panasonic LCD TV 26"

But after I get the initial Win XP Screen with logo the screen blacks out ?

I tried with an acer 14" LCD monitor also and the same problem recurs

I tried using a Toshiba and HCL Laptop on Panasonic and works great

Can anyone guide me how I can make the same happen

    Thanks
    Regards
    Dr Kukreja

it's possible that the tv doesn't like the resolution set on the aao..

have you used the tv before? have you tried it with the other?
have you tried booting windows in vga mode (f8 after the system posts, select vga mode, i think... it's been a LONG time)

sometimes booting into safemode.. opening up device manager and blowing away all the monitors listed will help(I think you might have to click actions/show non connected hardware) then reboot...
