I'm headed to college in the fall of 2018, and am looking to buy a laptop within the next two or three months that will last me several years. I do like playing video games recreationally, as well as some video editing. I have looked at the ROG Strix GL702ZC, but am not sure it will drop in time. I'm looking for something to handle games like Dark Souls III and the current Battlefield games at ultra/maximum settings with decent frame rate, that will also handle next gen games at a decent setting for at least a year or two. I understand this is costly, but am willing to drop around $2000 to get the job done. All recommendations are appreciated.
