Anyone else experience this? Ive had my laptop for about a month and all was fine.

i had downloaded and been using the aa1 fan control thingy but not all the time. Only when i wanted the laptop to be quiet. Its been acting up now. i rebooted...still the same problem. video and sound is choppy and laggy. I searched the logs and the ACPIEC has been tossing up a lot of warnings/errors. i did some googling and it seems its an issue on some asus laptops..and others basically said it has to do with stuff queering the bios about things like temperature/fan stuff.

I havent had the aa1 on though. hrmmm ill try to uninstall to see if that helps. if not, Im not sure.

anyone else have any idea? im dont want to disable the acpiec either.

If using windows and on battery, check your power scheme in control panel.
Windows defaults to using less CPU/downclocking while on battery, and can cause poor wifi and video performance.
