    Hi,

Just go an Acer Aspire one 150-Ab, took off the linux lite and put on XP through USB install...

however I now have the problem that I can't connect to the internet - it cant seem to find the card, and obviously therefore can't find any networks...

*EDIT* when I go to set up a new connection I get a message saying "The wizard cannot find your network hardware.... etc etc etc... you must first install and configure your cards etc etc etc.... however I don't know how to install the cards, or then configure it :/ *EDIT*

Any help would be really appreciated!

    Thanks in advance - chris

Download and install the Atheros WiFi XP drivers from Acers support site. No drivers for the Atheros card with a default XP install.

No it won't. If he hasn't installed the Atheros driver, it won't do didly squat for his WiFi connection. XP doesn't support the Atheros card in the AAO out of the box.
