can't get past XP password

    Hi,
    I just bought an Aspire A150 yesterday and it won't let me past the XP login screen. I've tried typing in my password a hundred different ways, even tried logging in as Administrator and it still won't let me in. Does anyone know how I can get past this screen?

    I've read that there is a trick with the BIOS password, where you need to use all CAPS to get in, but I can get past that screen. Just can't get past XP login.

    I'm about to take the thing back! Please help!

    update: now, when I i go into setup when I restart it, it says the HDD password is "froze". I've totally messed this thing up, haven't I?!?!
