    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has been able to boot from a SD card as I have been unable to do so. I was wondering if a Bios update would fix this problem as SD cards do not show up as a possible boot device in my Bios. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I don't think this is possible as the card reader is PCIE, not USB (like in an EEE), and the BIOS only supports booting from USB.

There is no direct SD boot. You can achieve that by installing GRUB loader to MBR. There is somewhere topic with this information...

    Look at this: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=3105
