Can not mount USB CDRom

    My A1 can automatically mount USB flash drive when plugged in. But when USB external CD Rom plugged in, nothing happened. Do I need go through any command to mount the CD Rom.

    have you checked the bios too see if its picking up the USB CDRom ? also change the boot settings or when the computer boots up press F10 or F12 to select what you want to boot up

    I had the same problems with my USB Cdrom when I plugged it in to install Windows XP.

    I did have success booting up into Linpus then plugging it in. When I (soft) rebooted, the cdrom drive was picked up during the boot sequence and I was able to install Windows just fine.

    The bios can not pick up the CD Rom Drive. May be the Drive is too old. it is a usb 1.0 drive (Buslink)
