Can I get rid of "text select" in 11?

    Hi all. I've recently bought a new HP Laptop running windows11 and after ajusting the mouse settings (I use a wireless mouse) I've got this "text select" thing on the screen that whatever I do, just won't go away.
    Is there anyone who can tell me how to get rid of it please as its driving me mad!? Thanks. Steve

    Well I guess that after 24 views, I probably can't get rid of this blasted "text select" pointer. I'll just have to put up with it.
