I tried to connect 2 Samsung monitors to my Asus Zenbook UX534FTC laptop using the ComSol USC-C Dual HDMI Docking Station, but it didn't work. When I checked the specs for my Zenbook, it turned out that the USB-C port on my laptop is for data transfer only. Does not support video. Very disappointing, considering the price of the Asus Zenbook (mid $2K). Does anyone have any suggestion on how to overcome this problem, besides using a separate HDMI splitter to the laptop? Are there any adaptors or docking stations out there that do not require a USB-C with video? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
