Buzzing Sound

    Starting today, my Acer Aspire One started making a low buzzing/humming sound that is consistent. It only stops when the netbook is off.

    To give a better idea of what this sounds like, it sounds like a laptop does when you load a disk into a disk-drive. This computer of course, has no disk drive so this noise puzzles me.

    The only difference I can think of is a simple piece of software that I installed, but the buzzing did not start till several hours after this.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    (More info: I have the 120GB version with Windows XP)

    its your fan, send it in to acer and they'll replace it for you, i had the same problem its better now
