Black bezel mod

    Anybody know how to get rid of that ugly black bezel and replace with one that actually matches the color of the computer?

    You could always try some matching vinyl from a sign shop. It probably won't match exactly but it will be easier than painting the bezel.

    I choose the blue AAO because the black bezel is less obvious.

    The annoying thing is that the Coral Pink version of the aspire one comes with a perfect White bezel. Does anyone know how we could order this part directly from acer?

    lol, you guys dont appreciate contrast! :p

    btw does anyone know of a good way to clean the screen without smudging?

    I've just ordered my white Aspire one 15o and am already annoyed by this "contrast" LOL.

    I've just sent an email to Lapjacks to see if they do anything?

    Also, I may just print out a template of a more suitable colour and laminate it. Not sure how that will look?

    :eek: Are you guys serious?

    I love the contrast of the black bezel on my AA1. That is part of the reason I opted for the white instead of the other colors available. That, and the fingerprints too. I'm not sure I'd like it if it was all white. Plus, the black bezel makes the vibrant screen stand out sooooo much better than white would.

    Are you all going to get rid of the orange metal hinge pieces too?

    Mmm, not bad, but having received my laptop, I rather like it the way it is and I don't mind the black inside screen now.

    I do have a great picture, I want to use for the laptop lid (reverse screen), so may get some transparent film, that I can run through a laser printer?
