BIOS Upgrade for A0521

    Hi,

    I wanted to upgrade the BIOS on my Aspire One 521 to 1.08, but I had already wiped the Windows 7 starter from it and installed Ubuntu, so I went ahead with the usual FLASHIT.EXE + ZG5IA32.FD on a bootable USB (followed the instructions from here http://hiendgadget.com/what-to-do-to-flash-bios-on-acer-aspire-one-521-532h-721-d250-zg5.html), but I only later realized that the 1.08 version of the BIOS for the 521 comes as an EXE (instead of a .FD file), so the BIOS flash didn't fully work. As a result, the screen is dead and it's not booting at all anymore.

    Has anyone successfully done a BIOS update using a bootable flash for the Aspire One 521? Thanks in advance.
