So, has anyone tried BIOS 3305 under OSX yet?

I've got a nice little hackbook now that i've upgraded to a dell 1390, and I don't really want to be the first to try a new BIOS in case it causes issues. ~2:30 hrs battery life is good, but if 3305 does make a difference, i'd be excited to upgrade! (And there's always the chance it fixes sleep mode too!)

Let me know what your experience has been!

Maybe I'm just too eager, but I popped it on my netbook right away! I'm running Ubuntu, gotta a full charge right now, and going to test how long it lasts...

    Thanks for the reply.
Good to know the update's not broken!
I was wondering more along the lines if it causes any driver issues in OSX.

I could be paranoid but it still feels like my OSX install is fragile, and I don't want to make any untested big changes.

Ok, I installed iATKOS 4i today, using the instructions located here. This all with the new bios update. Seems like it's working fine. I am noticing that if I leave it running while not touching it for a while, the screen saver goes black, and it's locked up. I haven't investigated yet if this is a common problem or if this is something new...

What are your Energy Saving settings? You should make sure that it's set to Never Sleep.

So other than the (everpresent) sleep issue, any issues with 3305?

Mine came with 3305, no problems that everyone else isn't having (sleep). Everything is working excellently.

I haven't run my AAO long enough to see if there is a difference, but with the fan always on, I'm not sure how much longer the battery will last.
